Risk Management

If you’re a Wilderness First Responder (WFR) who works for one of several agencies, and need to verify your knowledge of WFR protocols that require physician advisor authorization, then you’re at the right place. In order to get going you’ll need the following:

  • Your WFR certification card. You’ll need to submit your certification date, your expiration date and a picture of the card
  • Time to review the refresher materials on the reduction of dislocations, use of epinephrine for anaphylaxis or severe asthma, and a video on administering epinephrine. This should take about 30 minutes.
  • Time to take a brief quiz to verify your understanding.

Don’t worry if you don’t have time to complete everything. If you need to come back to your work, you’ll be able save your work and return.
